Synopsis Ten years after the Battle of the Breach, Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, has abandoned the Jaeger Program and makes a living by stealing and selling Jaeger parts on the black market. While trying to steal part of a disabled Jaeger's power core, he meets a young scavenger named Amara Namani, whose parents were killed in a kaiju attack in Santa Monica. Amara pilots a makeshift Jaeger named Scrapper, Jake sitting beside her, until they are found by November Ajax.
